About the position Podean is the leading global marketplace marketing agency. We’re looking for a highly organized People Operations & Culture Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our global team and help deliver a consistent, thoughtful employee experience. This role plays a key part in keeping our People function running smoothly through strong coordination, follow-through, and operational support across the employee lifecycle. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to fast-moving environments, takes pride in execution, and cares about creating a positive, well-run workplace culture behind the scenes. While Podean is fully remote, we are prioritizing candidates based on the East Coast to support time zone alignment and collaboration. Responsibilities • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring employees have a smooth and welcoming experience from start to finish • Manage People documentation, trackers, and internal records to keep information accurate and up to date • Track and support key people processes such as performance reviews, training participation, handbook updates, and acknowledgements • Send reminders, follow-arenaflex, and status updates to help teams stay on track with company-wide initiatives • Maintain and organize People systems, workflows, and shared documentation • Coordinate equipment logistics, swag ordering and distribution, and internal inventory tracking • Assist with travel and hotel bookings for team events, leadership meetings, and in-person gatherings • Support employee programs and culture initiatives, including global calls, training rollouts, and virtual events • Support recruiting for junior-level roles by coordinating interview scheduling and managing candidate logistics • Maintain candidate tracking and ensure recruiting processes remain organized and efficient Requirements • 1–2+ years of experience in an operations, People Ops, or support-focused role • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote, and globally distributed environment • Experience using tools like arenaflex Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and similar systems • Proactive, dependable, and collaborative team player • Interest in people operations and contributing to a positive team culture Benefits • Competitive compensation aligned to experience and market benchmarks • Remote-first flexibility - work from anywhere, with trust and autonomy • Global collaboration - working with experts across regions and time zones • Career growth and development - opportunities to evolve as we scale • 5-Year Sabbatical + Travel Stipend - After your 5-year anniversary, take a fully paid month-long sabbatical, plus a travel reimbursement to make your experience restorative and inspiring • Positive-energy culture - grounded in respect, inclusion, and accountability • Meaningful impact helping some of the world’s most progressive brands grow Apply tot his job
