There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><b>Job Description</b></h1><h1>Position Summary</h1><p>The Program Specialist provides key local customer interface and day-to-day work direction for assigned personnel at specific account(s). This role ensures disinfection, distribution, par-level control, and demand deliveries of equipment or devices, while maintaining customer satisfaction and Service Excellence per contract. Work location: On Site: Huntley/ Woodstock/ McHenry</p><h1>Key Responsibilities</h1><ul><li>Utilize knowledge of customer contracts to ensure obligations are met; prioritize service, assign personnel, and follow up on commitments.</li><li>Serve as on-site leader responsible for customer relationship regarding the Disinfection and Distribution Team. Ensure service quality through frequent contact and formal reviews. Represent hospital during regulatory inspections and attend required meetings (e.g., Safety Committee, Huddles).</li><li>Analyze equipment utilization, stocking levels, workflow, and related data to prepare findings and recommendations; adjust processes as needed.</li><li>Provide training to new staff and assist with defined technician duties; perform technician duties when necessary.</li><li>Track and analyze financial performance within GEHC; recommend improvements in equipment fleet size, supplies, or workflow and facilitate implementation.</li><li>Resolve issues related to disinfection and distribution of mobile medical equipment; collaborate with biomed for planned maintenance. Perform safety and environmental inspections per GE and hospital standards.</li><li>Maintain approved supply inventory and manage vendor service delivery processes in compliance with GE policies.</li><li>Ensure proper care of carts and tools; maintain knowledge of current standards for safe and effective disinfecting and distribution.</li><li>Comply with Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety, and other applicable regulatory requirements.</li><li>May work in D&D capacity at other facilities for consulting engagements or implementations.</li></ul><h1>Quality Goals</h1><ul><li>Comply with GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, and applicable laws/regulations.</li><li>Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within deadlines.</li><li>Identify and report quality or compliance concerns; take corrective action as required.</li><li>Complete site safety inspections at defined intervals; maintain documentation for staff training and site requirements.</li></ul><h1>Required Qualifications</h1><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum two years of progressive team leadership experience, including supervising and coaching personnel and resolving customer issues.</li><li>Experience in a customer service environment with knowledge of account coordination.</li><li>Excellent communication skills; ability to explain processes and business issues clearly.</li><li>Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and remain active on feet for extended periods.</li><li>Willingness to travel outside assigned region for special projects.</li><li>Valid driver’s license.</li></ul><h1>Preferred Qualifications</h1><ul><li>Associate’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Management, or related healthcare field.</li><li>Knowledge of electronics or biomedical equipment.</li><li>Previous experience managing financial and administrative requirements.</li><li>Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to explain technical and business issues clearly.</li><li>Experience collaborating with internal teams and external customers in a solution-based service process.</li><li>Change agent with process-oriented mindset.</li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-PA1</p><p>#LI-On-Site</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $92,400.00-$138,600.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
