This role combines grassroots community engagement with digital recruitment strategies to build diverse talent pipelines for innovative projects supporting some of the world's most disruptive brands.<br><br>As the face of TELUS International in your local market, you'll leverage your networking expertise and crowd hiring experience to identify, engage, and onboard exceptional talent through face-to-face interactions, strategic partnerships, and creative sourcing campaigns. The ideal candidate brings native or near-native US English fluency, proven recruitment experience, and a passion for building relationships that connect people with meaningful opportunities while representing our globally recognized brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.<br><br><strong>Main Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Actively recruit "on the field" through direct community engagement and face-to-face interactions for open projects, and recruit remotely when needed to supplement field efforts</li><li>Participate in local community events, career fairs, and networking opportunities to promote TELUS International projects while distributing flyers and promotional materials to build awareness</li><li>Serve as a visible and enthusiastic TELUS International brand ambassador in the local community</li><li>Resource qualified project participants through diverse channels and community networks, providing comprehensive support throughout the onboarding process</li><li>Develop and execute successful field sourcing strategies including newspaper advertising, establishment partnerships, and community outreach</li><li>Create and implement effective social media recruitment campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms</li><li>Design, publish, and manage recruitment advertisements and sourcing materials while maintaining a permanent and engaging social media presence to attract ongoing talent</li><li>Establish, build, and grow extensive networks of resourcing channels, partners, and associates including community services, schools, local government agencies, businesses, NGOs, employment agencies, media outlets, internet sites, and digital platforms</li><li>Cultivate strategic relationships to expand recruitment reach and visibility, developing creative partnerships that provide sustainable talent pipelines for current and future projects</li><li>Represent and promote the TELUS International brand with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm</li><li>Collaborate regularly with Sourcing Manager, Sourcing Team Leader, and team members, providing consistent reporting on recruitment activities, metrics, and outcomes</li><li>Share insights, best practices, and innovative approaches to enhance team effectiveness<br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>1-3 years of professional experience in recruitment, sourcing, or human resources with domain expertise in crowd hiring and high-volume recruitment</li><li>Established local network and community connections (previous experience in real estate, sales, or brokerage is a plus)</li><li>Availability to travel locally within the city for field recruitment activities and flexibility to attend community events, career fairs, and networking opportunities</li><li>Reliable internet connection and telephone access for remote work and communication</li><li>Native or near-native US English fluency with excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li>Outstanding customer service attitude and relationship-building capabilities with ability to engage diverse audiences</li><li>Outgoing, friendly personality with positive attitude toward people from all backgrounds and cultures</li><li>Highly organized, self-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Can do attitude with creative, outside-the-box thinking and problem-solving approach</li><li>Strong ability to thrive in multicultural, global work environments</li><li>Comfortable working in highly secure and confidential environments with discretion and professionalism</li><li>Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing applications, and email clients</li><li>Comfortable creating and managing content across social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram)</li><li>Ability to design, publish, and manage recruitment advertisements and digital materials with strong technical aptitude for learning new systems, tools, and platforms</li><li>Professional ability to represent and promote the TELUS International brand with enthusiasm and integrity in all interactions <br><br></li></ul><strong>TELUS Values<br><br></strong>TELUS recognizes and embraces the importance of values in our ever-changing workplace.
