The Director of Strategic Business Development will lead market development, ecosystem partnerships, and commercial strategy for this new segment, focusing on building strategic alliances and shaping market entry strategies. Responsibilities • Identify, develop, and structure strategic partnerships with hyperscalers, data-center operators, EPCs, OEMs, and energy-infrastructure players • Build commercial alliances with technology providers, integrators, and utilities to accelerate adoption of SolarEdge’s power ecosystem • Engage with C-suite and strategy teams to co-design business models and pilots that prove new approaches to powering AI data centers • Shape SolarEdge’s market entry strategy for AI data-center infrastructure in North America • Define commercial models, partnership frameworks, and channel strategy for scaling adoption • Provide market intelligence and ecosystem insights to senior management, influencing investment and product roadmap decisions • Represent SolarEdge in industry forums, conferences, and with key customers as a thought leader in the intersection of AI, power infrastructure, and sustainability • Articulate our value proposition to strategic partners and regulators, positioning SolarEdge as a technology and thought leader • Partner with R&D, product, and engineering teams to align product direction with market opportunity • Act as the 'voice of the market,' translating partner and customer insights into business priorities • Collaborate closely with the executive team to build the business case and commercial plan for scale-up Skills • 10–15+ years in strategic business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership roles in data-center, energy, or power-electronics sectors • Proven relationships with hyperscalers, colocation providers, or large EPC/integrator networks in North America • Familiar with data-center energy systems, arenaflex/BESS, HVDC, or related power infrastructure • Skilled at ecosystem mapping, partnership structuring, and go-to-market creation for new technology categories • Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-evolving, startup-like environment within a global company • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred Benefits • Total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. • Our highly competitive benefits package is designed to support your success at work, at home, and at play.
