Gravity IT Resources is seeking an Epic-certified Research & Clinical Trials Manager with a focus on genomics to support a large-scale Cerner to Epic conversion. This critical leadership role involves overseeing the transition of research operations and genomic data into the Epic system while ensuring compliance and continuity of clinical trials during the migration process. Responsibilities • Lead Epic Research workstreams during a Cerner to Epic migration • Assess current Cerner research and genomics workflows and map them to Epic functionality • Partner with research, genomics, clinical, and IT stakeholders to ensure continuity of trials during the transition • Oversee Epic build, configuration, testing, and validation for research and genomics workflows • Support data migration, validation, and post-go-live optimization related to clinical trials and genomic data • Ensure regulatory, consent, and compliance requirements are met throughout the conversion (IRB, HIPAA, GCP) • Coordinate with Epic, third-party vendors, and genomics laboratories as part of the transition • Provide leadership, issue resolution, and guidance throughout the conversion lifecycle Skills • Epic Research certification (required) • Experience supporting Cerner to Epic conversions or large Epic implementations • Strong background in clinical research or clinical trials operations • Familiarity with genomics or precision medicine workflows • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder environments • Experience migrating research or genomics workflows from Cerner • Epic Beaker and/or Cogito exposure • Academic medical center or research health system experience • Experience supporting genomics-driven or precision medicine clinical trials Company Overview • Gravity IT Resources provides the consulting expertise and IT talent that powers digital transformation.
