About Shift Living and Blesso Properties Shift Esperanza is the inaugural project of Shift Living, a platform founded to become the world’s first recognizable global brand for conscious real estate development. Shift Living was conceived by BlessoProperties, founded in New York in 1998 by Matthew Blesso and now based in Costa Rica. Blesso Properties spent thirteen years developing the Shift Living concept and six years planning and permitting Shift Esperanza, which is now entering its vertical development phase. About the Role Shift Esperanza has assembled a high performing core team overseeing development, sales, marketing, and finance. With strong traction, robust marketing collateral, and the support of a top-tier global marketing strategy firm, we are now ready to bring in a seasoned Marketing Manager to lead the next stage of growth. This role is central to advancing Shift Esperanza while also helping shape and scale the broader Shift Living brand into future markets. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for clearly communicating the uniqueness of our first project, building a world class brand foundation, and leading marketing execution as Shift Living grows into a global platform. This is both a strategic and execution role, ideal for a creative, entrepreneurial marketer who thrives in visionary, purpose-driven environments and enjoys building systems, teams, and brands from the ground up. Key Responsibilities • Lead all marketing efforts for Shift Esperanza and scale the marketing function as Shift Living expands into additional projects. • Collaborate with the marketing strategist to finalize the marketing plan, growth strategy, and global brand positioning, then fully own execution. • Manage and grow an internal marketing team along with external consultants and agency partners. • Develop SOPs, reporting systems, and scalable marketing infrastructure. • Oversee quality control across all brand collateral, messaging, and communications. • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure seamless marketing automation and pipeline execution, and with the Development team on product, technical considerations, and timelines. • Manage marketing budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting • Oversee the creation of best in class content that elevates the project and company to the level of attention and presence it deserves. • Lead global PR strategy. • Architect and oversee paid media strategy. • Improve marketing and sales automation including CRM, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and audience segmentation, and continue to be at the leading edge of incorporating AI. • Create investor communications and presentation decks. Role Requirements • Seven or more years of marketing leadership experience, ideally with some exposure to real estate and/or social-impact projects. • Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and a high level of professionalism. • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience building, guiding, and scaling teams. • High level of emotional intelligence and strong alignment with and embodiment of Shift’s 6 Core Values. • Proven creative capacity to launch novel offerings without an established playbook. • Demonstrated success driving sales pipelines and revenue growth. • Proven leadership in global brand positioning and market expansion. • Experience managing creative teams and agency partners. • Expertise in paid media, SEO, automation, CRM systems, and analytics. • Exceptional strategic, analytical, and leadership capabilities. • Proven innovator and already deep into AI marketing. • Fluency in both English and Spanish. • Strong sense of taste and style, particularly in architecture and interior design.
