About the position Our client, a renowned IP boutique law firm, is seeking an associate and a patent agent with a PhD in molecular biology to join its distinguished group of patent lawyers. The winning candidate will have 2-7 years of experience, preferably with some exposure to cancer therapeutics. This is an awesome opportunity to work with one of the best patent lawyers in the business in the field of molecular biology. They are interested in creative thinkers, someone who can intuit why patent examiners “think the way they think.” They are open to ideas and want lawyers and examiners who have people skills and are collaborative. This will be a terrific growth opportunity, and you will be able to meet with inventors as well as patent examiners. This role will be remote, but those in the suburban Detroit area, the Boston area, the Midwest, or Pittsburgh area will have a real leg up.
