CyberCoders is a leading provider of outpatient diagnostic imaging services across the U.S. They are seeking a Remote Clinical Systems Administrator to manage and maintain radiology IT systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and providing user support for clinical staff.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain radiology IT systems like PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), RIS (Radiology Information System), and other imaging platforms
  • Ensure system security and data integrity, including compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA
  • Provide user support and training for radiologists, technologists, and other clinical staff
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to imaging systems and interfaces
  • Coordinate system upgrades and integration projects with IT and vendor teams
  • Monitor system performance, conduct audits, and implement improvements
  • Control user access levels based on roles and responsibilities
  • Document system changes and maintain accurate records for audits and operational transparency
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and ensure regular backups
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize workflows and system usage

Skills

  • Experience with eRAD RIS and PACS
  • Deep understanding of RIS, PACS, and HL7 interfaces, especially eRAD systems
  • Ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot radiology software and hardware
  • Skilled in analyzing and improving radiology workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times
  • Experience working with software vendors (e.g., Royal Health, Medinformatix) for updates, support, and customizations
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, data privacy, and secure handling of patient imaging data
  • Capable of training clinical staff and providing ongoing technical support
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving system errors, connectivity issues, and integration challenges
  • Ability to lead or support system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations
  • Clear communication with radiologists, IT teams, and administrators to align technical solutions with clinical needs
  • Proficient in maintaining system documentation, change logs, and performance reports
  • Experience with Royal and Medinformatix
