NYU Langone Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Per Diem Research Data Associate to assist with data entry for a research study. This role is crucial for the accurate and timely collection, organization, and entry of research data in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform accurate and efficient data entry from study-related materials into research databases and spreadsheets Verify and validate entered data against source documents to ensure data integrity and accuracy Follow established protocols and guidelines for data handling to comply with study requirements and confidentiality standards Identify and report discrepancies or errors in data and collaborate with team members to resolve issues Maintain proper documentation of research data according to study requirements Assist in organizing and managing research files, records, and materials Facilitate other research study-related tasks as needed to support the research team Skills Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Certification is preferred (required in some disciplines) Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred Experience working in an Academic Medical Center Preferred Benefits Comprehensive benefits and wellness package Financial security benefits Generous time-off program Employee resources groups for peer support Holistic employee wellness program Company Overview NYU Langone Health is a nonprofit organization that provides a center of excellence in healthcare, research, and medical education.
