This role involves owning market insights, benchmarking strategy, and driving customer adoption programs while collaborating with various departments to enhance service adoption and revenue growth. Responsibilities • Perform continuous market, customer, and competitive analysis across cloud compute and AI infrastructure to inform roadmap, positioning, and investments • Establish an insights operating cadence and narrative that delivers timely, data-driven recommendations to OCI leadership • Define and execute end-to-end benchmarking strategy for competitive advantage across compute and AI workloads • Own benchmark program management: definitions, proof-of-concept plans, execution coordination, and publication • Align benchmark results with pricing, positioning, and field guidance • Build the product health and business analytics foundation: customer segmentation, growth funnels, top customer health, regional profitability, demand projections, and margin/COGS analysis • Generate dashboards and metrics that inform product performance and roadmap decisions; ensure data quality, repeatability, and auditability • Own adoption targets for newly launched services; design and execute structured adoption plays by segment, workload, and region • Identify friction points across the customer journey and partner with Product, Engineering, and Field to remove barriers and improve time-to-value • Own outbound communications for insights, benchmarks, and adoption programs, including PR plans, technical blogs, and analyst briefings in partnership with Comms/Marketing • Ensure message consistency and alignment with OCI priorities across internal and external channels • Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing PM team; set goals, define operating mechanisms, and foster a customer-centric, data-driven culture • Standardize best practices for research, benchmarking, analytics, and enablement across the portfolio Skills • 12+ years in product management, product strategy, or product marketing for cloud infrastructure or adjacent enterprise platforms; experience at scale strongly preferred • Proven leadership building market/competitive intelligence, benchmarking programs, and data-driven product health analytics that influence roadmap and investments • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, networking) and AI accelerators; ability to engage credibly with engineering and field architects • Demonstrated success driving adoption and growth programs for new services, with measurable impact on pipeline, win rates, and revenue • Exceptional executive communication skills; able to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with business metrics, forecasting, unit economics, and arenaflex/margin analysis • BS/BA in a technical or quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent experience • Experience leading competitive intelligence functions for hyperscale cloud or semiconductor/infrastructure providers • Hands-on experience with industry-standard compute/AI benchmarking methodologies and translating results into pricing and positioning guidance • Proficiency with data tooling and experimentation frameworks • Track record establishing KPIs and governance for insights, adoption, and enablement programs • Thought leadership: technical blogs, conference talks, analyst/customer briefings Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, including expert medical opinion • Short term disability and long term disability • Life insurance and AD&D • Supplemental life insurance (Employee/Spouse/Child) • Health care and dependent care Flexible Spending Accounts • Pre-tax commuter and parking benefits • 401(k) Savings and Investment Plan with company match • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
