Title : SQL & SSIS Developer with AWS Lambda Exposure (Onsite) Duration : 6 Months Location : Minneapolis MN (Relocation is ok) Job Description: We're seeking a seasoned Senior SQL & SSIS Developer to design, build, and optimize high-performance data pipelines and ETL solutions acro enterprise data platforms. You will own complex SQL development, SSIS orchestration, performance tuning, and production support. The deal candidate has hands-on experience integrating on-prem SQL Server/SSIS with cloud services and some level of AWS Lambda knowledge for event-driven processing and lightweight transformations. Job Duties: Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes, including error handling and logging. Build and optimize SQL objects (stored procedures, functions, views) for high-performance data operations. Migrate and consolidate data from multiple sources (files, APIs, databases) into SQL Server. Implement parameterized, reusable ETL frameworks and metadata-driven pipelines. Diagnose and tune query performance using execution plans, indexing, and partitioning strategies. Optimize SSIS data flows for efficiency (buffers, parallelism, incremental loads). Implement data quality checks, reconciliation processes, and audit trails. Enforce security controls for sensitive data (encryption, secrets management, PIl handling). Create and maintain technical documentation, including data lineage and runbooks. Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing fixes. Contribute to modernization initiatives (e.g., migration from SSIS to cloud-native solutions).
