RN Clinical Educator (Nurse Faculty) job at USA Staffing Network. New York, NY. (Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Education/Training - RN Clinical Educator (Nurse Faculty) - Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day|some Evening. Monday - Friday, with rotation of 1 Saturday. Direct Hire Permanent Competitive Salary (60k - 70k, DOE) Full Benefits Package Location: Geneva, NY (Finger Lakes Region) Two full-time Faculty Positions for the RN Program. Hours are Monday-Friday- with a rotation of one Saturday Clinical per month during the day. Everything is taught on Campus- with some clinical at hospital. Hours could be from 7am-4pm or 9am-5pm or 10am-7pm. Schedule will be determined based on candidate qualifications. Hires are expected to teach everything based on their qualifications. Clinical sites are located in Geneva, Canandaigua and Clifton Springs area hospitals. Most clinicals will be in Geneva. Psych will be in Clifton Springs, and labor & delivery is in Canandaigua NY. This is not a tenured position. Education - Minimum- Master of Science in Nursing Education or bachelor's degree and actively pursuing Master of Science in Nursing Education degree with completion within 4 years in the position Preferred- Master of Science with a major in Nursing|Education or doctorate in education or nursing License|Certifications - License- Current unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse licensure Minimum- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required through the RQI system during clinical orientation. Preferred Certifications- Certified Nurse Educator Experience - Minimum- 3 years clinical nursing experience Preferred- Prior teaching experience in nursing education med surg., critical care, and|or psych, maternity. 5 years' experience as an RN. 2 years' experience in a leadership role with demonstrated effectiveness. Minimum- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-entity health system. Ability to facilitate project management, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication (written and oral), analytical, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets.
