NTN has an opening in our Industrial Sales Department for an OEM Associate Sales Engineer (in Rotational Development).

ROTATIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

  • The successful candidate will be located out of the Chicago area for the first 18-24 months for training within NTN departments to learn NTN's products and systems. This will be a hybrid work environment, with 2-4 days per week in the office.
  • After completion of the development program, the candidate would be required to relocate for a placement in one of the following territories: Texas / Oklahoma region. This will be a remote position with 25-30% travel.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES of a SALES ENGINEER:

  • Develop and maintain multiple contacts (Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality) at major OEM accounts within the area of responsibility. Assist to manage these relationships at all levels of OEM customers.
  • Develop new OEM customer bearing specifications to assure NTN is preferred supplier.
  • Drive new and ongoing development projects that will lead to profitable growth.
  • Understand the factors that drive the business and accurately forecast order levels.
  • Meet or exceed business target plans.
  • Communicate effectively, both internally and externally.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSME or similar 4 year technical undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • Self-starter - able to learn quickly, and able plan and manage own travel.
  • Project manager - able to work within multiple NTN and customer departments to ensure smooth NTN support and production supply to Customer stakeholders.
  • Interested in relocating after 12-18 months to primary territory.
  • Travel 25-30% within the Oklahoma / Texas region.
