  • Responsible for overseeing daily operations in the sales department. Hiring and training sales staff, relaying information from upper management to department staff about sales quotas and generating leads to divide amongst sales staff
  • Responsible for planning, implementing and directing sales activities of the business in a designated area to achieve sales objectives.
  • Experience in leading and managing sales teams with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding required sales targets in driving performance by ensuring that your team is being measured and coached in accordance with their job requirements, metrics and HR policies
  • Ability to forecast sales achievement against target
  • Ability to communicate effectively with your teams in the form of one on ones, team meetings and briefs as well as the ability to ensure important company information is communicated to your teams when required
  • Ability to track and accurately update performance files of staff, minutes of meetings as well as compiling and sending reports required by business
  • Previous experience in driving and improving customer service through call listening, quality checking, coaching and feedback, which includes working to resolve any customer queries and escalations timeously and further providing feedback in order to close the loop

Assist in design and implement a strategic business plan to expand the business customer base and ensure a strong presence. Assist recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of the sales staff

Impact you’ll make:  

  • In the first 90 days – integrate yourself with your team, learn and understand products and processes in detail and familiarise yourself with business
  • Beyond 90 days – effectively manage your team(s) to ensure that they are meeting and exceeding performance metrics and consistently meeting and exceed required sales targets consistently with the view to exploring and implementing new ways of working to further improve performance and to play a critical role in identifying inefficiencies and assisting in the roll out of improving these. By doing this you will be creating a high performance team.
  • Coordinating the sales department under area of responsibility, supporting management, and ensuring sales quotas are reached
  • Enforce adoption of CRM (SalesForce), drive lead conversion, and conduct bi-annual sales trainings.
  • Conduct sales coaching and training for new and existing members through regular one-on-ones and call monitoring.

You can be based anywhere in South Africa and will not be able to work in a location outside of South Africa.
A Minimum of a 100 mbps upload and download speed is required, should you be successful, you will need to upgrade your line in order to work effectively.
