Sales Support Assistant – Christchurch

Equus Industries is looking for a proactive and detail‑focused Sales Support Assistant to join our Sales Support & Marketing Team in Christchurch.

Equus Industries is a New Zealand–owned manufacturer and supplier of specialist waterproofing systems for the construction industry. For over 40 years, Equus has provided high‑quality technical solutions and system specifications for projects across the country.

About the Role

In this diverse role, you’ll support our sales, marketing, and technical teams by managing documentation, digital platforms, warranties, website updates, social media, and basic IT tasks. Every day is different — perfect for someone who enjoys multitasking and using a range of systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage marketing and sales documentation using tools such as Adobe InDesign

· Assist with updates to the website and staff/applicator portals (using Craft CMS)

· Maintain product listings across digital platforms (Masterspec, Archify, EBOSS, Archipro)

· Manage social media posting and engagement

· Support the Marketing Coordinator with tasks such as event organisation and Mailchimp newsletters

· Assist with CRM administration in Salesforce

· Prepare and manage customer warranty documents

· Provide basic computer support and manage Dropbox organisation

Skills & Experience

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365

  • High level of general computer literacy (Windows operating system)

  • Willingness to learn new programs

  • Experience with Adobe InDesign helpful but not essential

  • CRM experience (Salesforce an advantage)

  • Experience with website CMS platforms (Craft CMS ideal) would be an advantage but not essential.

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
