Business Unit Overview: Reporting to the Marketing Insights and Technology leader at New York Life Group Benefit Solutions (NYL GBS) and working closely with Technology (IT), this role supports the development, configuration, and execution of marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically skilled campaign execution manager to help drive personalized, data-driven communications across digital channels. Role Overview: The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Campaign Manager is responsible for building, testing and deploying customer-centric campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role plays a critical part in campaign orchestration, data integration, audience segmentation, and technical enablement of personalization strategies using tools like Journey Builder, Email Studio, AMPscript, and Automation Studio. This role requires close coordination with internal partners including but not limited to IT, Salesforce, Integrated Marketing (B2B2C), Creative, and Compliance to ensure flawless campaign execution and performance tracking. What You’ll Do: Campaign Development & Deployment • Configure and deploy email and eventually multichannel campaigns in SFMC using Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact & Content Builder. • Leverage AMPscript and dynamic content to personalize email content based on customer attributes and behavior, eventually establishing dynamic content rules per channel. • Manage data extensions, SQL queries, filters, and subscriber data to ensure accurate targeting and deliverability. Journey Building & Automation • Develop, test, and maintain multi-step customer journeys triggered by key business or behavioral events, time-based and behavioral events. • Use decision splits, engagement tracking, and wait steps to optimize the customer experience. Data & Platform Integration • Work closely with CRM and analytics teams to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud. • Support preference center functionality and opt-out compliance across journeys • Assist with IP warming strategy and deliverability monitoring for new initiatives Testing & QA • Conduct end-to-end testing of content, data logic, and audience segmentation. • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and internal governance policies. Collaboration & Support • Provide technical consultation and support to Integrated Marketing partners and campaign stakeholders. • Assist with platform documentation, training, and user enablement. Required Qualifications • 8+ years of experience using traditional marketing automation platforms (e.g. Marketo, Hubspot) and 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaign execution • Strong proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and HTML/CSS for email personalization and development. • Proficiency with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact & Content Builder. • Experience with data extensions, campaign targeting, and dynamic content logic. ​ Pay Transparency Salary range: $90,000-$128,000 Overtime eligible: Exempt Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes Sales bonus eligible: No Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
