By analyzing alerts that may indicate compromises and related threat intelligence, you will help identify and contain compromised hosts and networks. Your role involves correlating and validating alerts to ensure they represent relevant security incidents. You'll also contextualize events within the customer's network environment, understand their business impact, and coordinate response activities with key staff in real time. Responsibilities: • Ability to analyze incoming security alerts based on various data points and prioritize incoming events effectively. • Identify and address threats that have infiltrated the network. • Review alerts, threat intelligence, and security data. • Handle security incidents and support requests, escalating to Security Engineers when necessary. • Conduct in-depth threat intelligence analysis to identify perpetrators, types of attacks, and impacted data or systems. • Contribute security expertise to optimize security tools and minimize noise. • Perform vulnerability assessments to evaluate organizational resilience and provide analysis on areas needing attention. • Promptly respond to support requests and escalate alerts to clients. • Identify areas for process and technical service improvements. • Participate in internal staff meetings and company discussions. • Maintain attention to processes and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
