As a (Senior) Consultant Lab Digitalisation, you will lead and deliver transformative projects that modernize laboratory environments through digital solutions. Leveraging your deep understanding of lab processes you will help design and implement strategies that drive operational efficiency through digital technologies, automation, and advanced data management. You will act as a trusted advisor, manage stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the development of our digital capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation both in R&D and regulated environments and shape the future of digital labs. Important Note: This is a pipeline posting to build our freelancer pool. There is no active project for this role today. We will review profiles on a rolling basis and contact you when a matching project starts. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage projects in the field of lab digitalisation, ensuring on‑time and high‑quality delivery • Act as a subject matter expert for lab informatics solutions such as LIMS, ELN, scientific data acquisition and analysis platforms, and system integrations • Translate complex business and laboratory requirements into scalable digital solutions • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and digital trends in lab environments (e.g. cloud platforms, IoT) • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle • Facilitate client workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements gathering sessions • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal methodologies, tools, and accelerators • Support knowledge sharing and capability development within the team • Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities during engagements and support business development efforts Qualifications, Skills and Experience • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or a related field • Further education or certifications in IT, digitalisation, or project management (e.g. PMP, Agile) are a plus • 3‑5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within a life sciences lab environment • Proven track record in implementing or managing lab digitalisation projects or systems • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and digital lab solutions (LIMS, ELN, CDS, LES, etc.) • Knowledge of the data lifecycle in laboratory environments and system integration • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements • Proficient in managing projects using both traditional and agile methodologies • Experience in managing client relationships and capable of working with stakeholders from science, IT, QA, and business • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, capable of leading several workstreams in parallel • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Skilled in facilitating workshops and delivering clear, persuasive presentations • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a hands‑on and proactive mindset • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change, with the ability to propose and adapt solutions • Strong team player with the ability to work in a multicultural, cross‑functional environment • Mid‑Senior level (Seniority level) • Contract (Employment type) • Consulting (Job function) • Business Consulting and Services (Industries) Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
