About the Role: As an Engineering Manager for Real-Time Analytics at KX, you\'ll lead a team dedicated to developing and enhancing our high-performance, scalable solutions for real-time data processing. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the technical direction and growth of our real-time analytics offerings, ensuring they exceed the expectations of our diverse, global clientele. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and delivery of scalable, high-performance real-time analytics solutions using KX technology. Mentor and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define product vision and roadmap for real-time analytics capabilities. Ensure software development best practices are maintained, including agile methodologies, code reviews, and automated testing. Drive technical excellence, pushing for innovations and optimizations that meet the challenges of processing large-scale time-series data. Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback and ensure our solutions meet market needs and expectations. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in real-time analytics and time-series databases, incorporating them into our strategy and products. Requirements: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong background in developing real-time analytics solutions, preferably with experience in time-series databases. Proficiency in technologies relevant to real-time analytics, such as KX, Kafka, Spark, Flink, and real-time visualization tools. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor software engineering teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
