You will partner closely with finance and collaborate across departments, particularly operations, technology, and people planning. Your insights will drive management decision-making and identify areas for improvement using data to deliver actionable outcomes. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong financial insight, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Analyze</b> monthly financial performance including cost of revenue, operating expenses, headcount, and key operational drivers; provide clear insights, variance explanations, and actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders.</p></li><li><p><b>Support</b> the forecasting and budgeting cycles by developing and maintaining financial models that incorporate historical trends, business drivers, and cross-functional input for accurate submissions.</p></li><li><p><b>Develop, refine, and track</b> KPIs and operational metrics in close partnership with Operations, Technology, and People teams to monitor business health and identify opportunities.</p></li><li><p><b>Prepare</b> recurring management reports, dashboards, and presentations that distill complex financial data into understandable insights for senior leadership.</p></li><li><p><b>Collaborate</b> with cross-functional partners to understand business operations, gather inputs, stress-test assumptions, and provide financial guidance that influences decision-making.</p></li><li><p><b>Assist</b> in preparing executive-level materials including board/leadership content and business performance narratives.</p></li></ul><p><b>Essential Functions:</b></p><ul><li><p>Must be able to sit or stand and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time.</p></li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>2+ years of experience in a financial analyst role, ideally in a multi-department organization.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to succinctly summarize results and findings.</p></li><li><p>Experience in operational finance and headcount analysis is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Ability to navigate ambiguity while leveraging data from various sources.</p></li><li><p>Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.</p></li><li><p>Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn more about a complex, growing business.</p></li><li><p>Strong cross-functional business partnership skills.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with major SaaS EPM applications (e.g., Vena, Oracle Hyperion, Adaptive Insights) preferred.</p></li><li><p>Advanced Excel skills are required.</p></li></ul><p><b>Compensation:</b><br>The annual salary for this role is between $80,000 to $107,000. Starting pay will be determined by factors including geography/market, skills, education, and experience. This position is also eligible for performance-based bonus opportunities.</p><p>All applicants must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship. Currently, this role is not eligible for immigration-related employment authorization sponsorship.</p><p><b>Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements:</b><br>As an online gaming company, BetMGM must comply with state gaming regulations, which include licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency; certain positions may require licensing from multiple agencies. Failure to obtain or maintain necessary licenses may result in termination.
