<strong>What The Role Is<br><br></strong>This is a teaching role in the School of Humanities & Social Sciences.<br><br><strong>What You Will Be Working On<br><br></strong><ul><li>Conduct and deliver lessons to full-time diploma students and part-time adult learners in subjects related to Psychology and research, with a focus on Behavioural Science/Insights,Special Needs Education or Community Psychology.</li><li>Design, prepare, and develop teaching and learning materials (for face-to-face and online learning), ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.</li><li>Be attuned to the latest developments in the fields of Psychology, Behavioural Science/Insights, Special Needs Education, or Community Psychology, integrating best and current practices into the curriculum.</li><li>Conduct and facilitate student-industry collaborations and take an active role in engagement with industry.</li><li>Supervise students in research projects that may be quantitative and/or qualitative in nature.</li><li>Mentor and motivate students, inspiring them to actively participate in student life and developmental activities, such as local and overseas learning trips.</li><li>Provide academic and career guidance to students.</li><li>Take on additional duties as necessary (e.g. committee work, overseas study trips and outreach events).</li><li>Proactively engage in continuous professional development to enhance pedagogical, research, and administrative capabilities.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Are Looking For<br><br></strong><ul><li>A tertiary qualification in Psychology is required, with a strong background in research and relevant experience in Special Needs Education, Community Psychology, or Behavioural Science/Insights preferred.</li><li>Minimum three years of relevant industry experience.</li><li>A passion and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youths and/or adults.</li><li>Strong industry linkages to enable collaboration and engagement with industry partners.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Demonstrate high levels of professionalism, and willingness to invest in continuous learning.</li><li>Adopt scientific and empirical perspectives in working with colleagues, industry partners and students.</li><li>IT-savvy, and able to utilize learning technologies to enhance the learning of students.</li></ul>
