Let's talk about the team You'll be part of the Marketing Technology team - a cross-functional group responsible for shaping the enterprise marketing technology ecosystem. The team drives innovation, integration, and governance across platforms such as CRM, CDP, Marketing Automation, and Analytics, enabling personalized and data-driven customer engagement at scale. Together with partners in Technology, Privacy, and Information Security, the team ensures our data infrastructure supports compliant, intelligent, and high-impact marketing programs across all global channels. Let's talk about the role As the CDP Strategic Leader (Senior Manager), you will define and oversee the strategy, adoption framework, and governance of our Customer Data Platform. You'll play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven personalization, segmentation, and activation - ensuring that our CDP evolves into a core enabler of connected customer experiences. You will guide how customer data is collected, unified, and activated across touchpoints, aligning technology capabilities with business priorities. Working closely with InfoSec, Privacy, Data, and Marketing teams, you'll help establish best practices for data integrity, compliance, and scalable activation while developing the long-term roadmap for CDP success from a MarTech perspective. Key Responsibilities • Define the strategic vision and roadmap for the Customer Data Platform to support marketing and business objectives. • Develop and maintain the CDP adoption framework, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance and privacy standards. • Lead the segmentation and audience strategy, enabling precise targeting, personalization, and measurement across channels. • Identify and prioritize data sources for integration into the CDP, ensuring relevance to marketing use cases and compliance requirements. • Partner with MarTech, CRM, and Analytics teams to design scalable data flows between systems (CRM, SFMC, eCommerce, etc.). • Collaborate with InfoSec and Privacy teams to uphold data protection, consent management, and ethical data practices. • Manage external vendors and implementation partners to ensure delivery of business and technical outcomes. • Define KPIs and success metrics to measure data activation efficiency, segmentation accuracy, and campaign effectiveness in partnership with Marketing Analytics team. • Stay informed on emerging trends in CDP, data privacy, and identity resolution to guide platform evolution and innovation. • Work closely with InfoSec and Privacy teams to maintain adherence to GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and other data regulations. • Drive organizational enablement and training to increase adoption and maturity of CDP capabilities across teams. • Champion innovation in data utilization, personalization, and marketing efficiency. You combine deep understanding of data platforms and governance with the ability to translate business needs into scalable activation strategies. Qualifications and Experience Required • 10+ years' experience in data strategy, marketing technology, or digital transformation roles. • Proven success in leading CDP or customer data unification projects (e.g., Salesforce Data Cloud, HighTouch, or similar). • Strong understanding of data architecture, identity resolution, and audience activation across marketing channels. • Hands-on experience in defining segmentation frameworks and data integration roadmaps. • Solid knowledge of privacy, consent, and compliance regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA). • Experience collaborating with InfoSec, Privacy, and Technology teams in enterprise environments. • Excellent stakeholder management, vendor oversight, and communication skills. • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. Base Pay Range for this position: US-remote: $116,000 - $145,000 - $174,000 For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
