Continental General is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr. Corporate Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst to join our growing team. This hybrid role based in Austin, TX will partner with internal stakeholders to directly support both Statutory and GAAP reporting requirements, with an emphasis on Statutory accounting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in financial analysis and planning and have experience supporting financial processes across multiple entities. The individual will contribute to high-impact work, including Board and regulatory reporting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. Responsibilities • Prepare monthly earnings reports and financial analysis packets • Partner with internal stakeholders to prepare quarterly Board of Directors reporting • Partner with internal stakeholders to prepare quarterly and annual rating agency submissions • Partner with internal stakeholder to develop the annual plan and reforecast processes • Prepare monthly revenue accruals and elimination entries • Develop and distribute monthly financial reports for Third Party Administrators • Partner with internal stakeholders to prepare quarterly Board reporting for GAAP entities • Support annual regulatory reporting for Third Party Administrators • Partner with internal stakeholders to prepare GAAP annual plan and reforecasting activities • Support cross-functional financial initiatives and ad hoc analysis • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with experience in both Statutory and GAAP accounting • Insurance or financial services industry experience strongly preferred • Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with financial reporting tools a plus • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently with limited oversight • Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits • Competitive Salary & arenaflex Bonus Program • Retirement Savings - 401(k) with a company match • Comprehensive Medical insurance through BlueCross BlueShield of Texas • Company-paid dental, vision, short-term & long-term disability, and life insurance • Work-Life Balance - 20+ days of PTO, 10 paid holidays, and paid volunteer time off • Flexible Work Options & Perks - Hybrid opportunity, wellness programs, and weekly paid lunch for onsite staff • Health Savings & Flexible Spending Accounts - Includes a company match for HSAs Apply tot his job
