Job Summary This position is responsible for assisting the HealthSpring Facets IT delivery team with end-to-end delivery of Technology programs and projects to ensure successful execution and alignment with business needs; ensuring program and project performance metrics are met to deliver key business value; providing technical insight to assist with troubleshooting of delivery issues. Must have a sufficient understanding of technology in order to appropriately define and delineate business capabilities from technical requirements. They must also understand business strategy and objectives in order to ensure that IT engineering work is prioritized by business value and that results align with business objectives. The incumbent provides expert content/professional leadership on complex assignments/projects. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise the software engineering team. Focuses on providing solution design thought leadership but also works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business objectives. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert on US Healthcare medical claims operations and processing. NOTE: This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO IL, NASHVILLE, TN or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the HealthSpring Facets IT delivery team with end-to-end delivery of Technology programs and projects
  • Ensuring program and project performance metrics are met to deliver key business value
  • Providing technical insight to assist with troubleshooting of delivery issues
  • Defining and delineating business capabilities from technical requirements
  • Ensuring that IT engineering work is prioritized by business value and that results align with business objectives
  • Providing expert content/professional leadership on complex assignments/projects
  • Advising the software engineering team
  • Creating Features and Acceptance Criteria, ensuring requirements clearly communicate Business/Stakeholder needs to the development team
  • Working with Product Manager and delivery teams to clarify Features as necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree and 7 years of Technology experience, including experience in Project management, OR 11 years of Technology experience, including experience in Project management.
  • Analytical thinking and consultative problem solving / consulting.
  • SDLC / Iterative / Agile / Scrum development.
  • Knowledge of Application Development platforms / languages.
  • Knowledge of Cloud computing / SaaS / PaaS.
  • Knowledge of DevOps / continuous deployment / integration process.
  • Experience with Project / portfolio management tools - Jira / MS Project / CBA / PPM / PMP.
  • Business acumen.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Oral & written communications.
