Position Overview:
Ace Express Coaches is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Bustang Street Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of the Bustang - North Line Service. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Street Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to routes, schedules, and operational guidelines. Operating under general supervision, the successful candidate will act as the key liaison between administration and driver staff.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the daily operations of the Bustang system, ensuring compliance with established routes, schedules, and operating procedures.
  • Serve as a vital link between administration and driver staff, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Operate Colorado State Owned Coaches to support and maintain transit services.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to bus operators, aiding them in the performance of their daily duties.
  • Monitor bus service to identify and analyze situations that may impact service quality.
  • Investigate and address issues affecting transit service, communicating relevant information and recommendations to appropriate management personnel.
  • Collaborate with management, employees, passengers, and the public to coordinate problem resolution and provide information.
  • Uphold high standards of quality and timeliness in transit service delivery.

Schedule Requirements:
Work Schedule: In light of the nature of the transportation industry, the Company does not maintain regular business hours. Your schedule, the number and types of routes assigned will vary and be determined by the company's specific business needs. The company does not guarantee any set number of hours, days, or shift assignments. Schedules are subject to change and may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, or multiple-day shifts. Flexibility with the work schedule and the ability to work any shift assigned is required.

  • Knowledge of staff training and development
  • Knowledge of general vehicle maintenance
  • Knowledge of Federal/State/Local laws and regulation
  • Knowledge of FTA and DOT regulations
  • Ability to establish positive client/employee relations
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with management and contractors
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of supervision.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid Colorado Commercial Driver's License with P2 Endorsement
  • Acceptable Driving Record (clean MVR)
  • Minimum of 2 or more years' driving large commercial vehicle with at least 1-year transit experience
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Proven experience in a transit system operations or related field.

Pay and Benefits
  • Pay rate: $29.00 - $32.00 per/hour
  • Paid bi-weekly
  • Health Insurance (Eligibility the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment)
  • Medical - Great rate at only $59 per pay period for single coverage (eligible 1st of the month after 30 day of employment)

  • Paid Time Off - start accruing immediately - at 3 hours per pay period or 2 weeks a year with option to rollover
  • 8 paid Holidays
  • 401K retirement plan with dollar for dollar match up to 4% (Vested Immediately)
