<strong>Description<br><br></strong>The Carrier Services team is seeking a Supply Strategy Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making for Amazon's middle mile transportation network. This role will analyze supply program performance, optimize load distribution across dedicated 3P carrier programs and 1P Amazon trailer programs, and develop strategic recommendations that balance cost efficiency with network capacity. The ideal candidate excels at working with large datasets, is proficient in SQL and data analysis tools, and can translate complex data into actionable supply strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact procurement decisions and network optimization in Amazon's dynamic logistics environment.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Supply Strategy & Optimization</li><li> Support weekly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles by consolidating cross-functional inputs to develop optimal supply mix strategies across 3P dedicated and 1P Amazon trailer programs</li><li> Analyze cost performance across transportation programs to recommend optimal load distribution and program selection</li><li> Support capacity planning by analyzing load distribution patterns and recommending supply allocation strategies</li><li> Data Analysis & Reporting</li><li> Own Weekly Business Review (WBR) reporting, analyzing forecast accuracy, identifying variance root causes, and recommending corrective actions</li><li> Pull data from multiple databases using SQL, Excel, and data management systems to perform cost analysis, program performance evaluation, and network impact assessments</li><li> Develop and maintain reports providing performance highlights and variance analysis to senior leadership and stakeholders</li><li> Determine network impacts from supplier capacity performance and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders</li><li> Process Improvement & Data Integrity</li><li> Lead initiatives to resolve data integrity issues by coordinating across teams to ensure reliable data for decision-making</li><li> Drive process improvements and standardize processes to eliminate execution defects</li><li> Support planning automation tasks to increase efficiency</li><li> Systematically intake, escalate, and triage execution problems, following through on resolutions</li><li> Cross-Functional Collaboration</li><li> Act as liaison between Supply Planning & Optimization team and internal stakeholders, removing barriers and streamlining operations</li><li> Coordinate with cross-functional teams to consolidate planning inputs and align on supply strategy decisions</li><li> Communicate cost analysis findings and program recommendations to stakeholders<br><br></li></ul><strong>About The Team<br><br></strong>Amazon Transportation Services is pioneering new products, services, and technologies within our transportation network. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
