Overview of the Role


The Technical Content Writer (Frontend) will create high-quality, in-depth frontend engineering content that provides practical, technically accurate guidance. This part-time, contract position requires producing 1-2 long-form blog articles monthly, showcasing real-world frontend engineering expertise.


Key Responsibilities:


- Delivering 2 to 3 long-form frontend engineering articles per month, typically 1,500 to 2,500 words.

- Producing structured, scannable articles that explain decisions and trade-offs, not just concepts.

- Revising drafts based on editorial feedback while preserving technical integrity.


Requirements:


- Engineering Background: Hands-on frontend engineering experience.

- Writing Skills: Proven long-form technical content writing ability for engineering audiences.

- Research Capabilities: Ability to efficiently maintain tight technical accuracy.

- Language: Advanced level of English


Must-Have Qualifications:


- Portfolio with published frontend engineering content.

- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.

- Production experience in at least one modern framework ecosystem (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, or Next)

- Depth in 2-3 frontend domains, such as: Frontend architecture, Performance, Testing, Design systems, Accessibility, Security basics, Build tooling
