Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.<br><br><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong>Job Summary</strong>:<br><br>Equipment Technicians are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in their assigned area, while working in partnership with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers and tool vendors. Equipment Technicians monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to repair equipment issues.<br><br><strong>Main Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process</li><li> Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings</li><li> Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.</li><li> Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required</li><li> May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications/Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>Diploma in Engineering.
