Sibme is seeking virtual instructional coaches for part-time employment as outside contractors during the hours of 7 AM - 5 PM Central. What is Virtual Instructional Coaching? Through personalized weekly Zoom conferences and by viewing and providing feedback to educator-submitted classroom videos using the Sibme platform, virtual coaches help educators achieve meaningful goals that will improve their professional practices. Specific Coaching Responsibilities: Committing to availability for 6 and 7 week coaching cycles and potential cycle extensions Conducting weekly, individualized coaching conferences via ZOOM in a quiet and professional environment--typically 45 - 60 minutes in length Viewing and providing time-stamped feedback on teacher-submitted videos within 24 hours of receipt of submission using the Sibme platform Identifying and sharing 1-2 goal-related resources weekly from Sibme s resource library Completing and sharing weekly coaching reports with relevant... stakeholders within 48 hours of coaching conference Scheduling and conducting a summative call with school supervisors Respond within 24 hours to all communications with all stakeholders Qualifications: The ideal Sibme coach... Is a certified teacher who has a minimum of 5 years experience working as an instructional coach or leader Master's Degree in Education (Required) Is able to provide coaching services from 7 AM 5 PM Central Is open to working up to 10 hours per week (and more if needed) Has excellent communication skills (verbal & written) Has relationship-building expertise Is tech-savvy Is willing to learn to use the Sibme platform and Zoom Has experience with and/or is willing to learn more about: Teach Like a Champion Kagan s Cooperative Learning Strategies CHAMPS classroom management PLCs Quality questioning strategies Strategies to increase engagement and rigor This is a 1099 part-time contractor position and is not full-time.
