Virtual Logistics Performance Analyst Location: Remote Annual Salary: USD 85,600 Position Overview: We seek a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Logistics Performance Analyst to join our dynamic team. This remote role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who excel at analyzing logistics data and improving operational efficiencies in a virtual environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience in logistics and supply chain management, and a passion for using data to drive performance improvements. Key Responsibilities: • Data Analysis and Reporting: • Analyze logistics performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate performance metrics and insights to stakeholders. • Conduct in-depth analyses of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, transportation costs, and inventory levels. • Performance Monitoring: • Monitor and evaluate logistics processes and workflows to ensure adherence to performance standards and objectives. • Identify deviations from targets and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. • Track and report on the effectiveness of process improvements and optimization initiatives. • Process Improvement: • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to develop and implement strategies for enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs. • Perform root cause analysis for performance issues and recommend solutions to address underlying problems. • Evaluate the impact of new technologies and tools on logistics performance and recommend their adoption where beneficial. • Stakeholder Communication: • Prepare and present detailed performance reports and analyses to management and other stakeholders. • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning. • Act as a liaison between logistics teams and other departments to ensure alignment on performance goals and initiatives. • Data Management: • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data audits and validation checks. • Manage large datasets, ensuring data is collected, stored, and processed effectively. • Implement best practices for data security and privacy under organizational policies and regulations. • Project Support: • Support logistics-related projects by providing data analysis and performance insights. • Participate in project meetings and contribute to developing project plans and timelines. • Please assist with implementing and monitoring project deliverables to ensure they meet performance objectives. • Continuous Learning and Development: • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging logistics and supply chain management technologies. • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role. • Contribute to developing best practices and standard operating procedures for logistics performance analysis. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Logistics Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, or in a similar analytical role within the logistics industry. • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis tools and software like arenaflex Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). • Experience with logistics and supply chain management systems (e.g., ERP, TMS) is highly desirable. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects remotely. • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques is a plus.
