The Patio Kitchen Cook I is responsible for a variety of food preparation duties and supports kitchen and restaurant staff members to provide an excellent quality of food and customer service.
  • Prepares all menu items quickly, efficiently, and consistently.
  • Prepares plates and baskets according to established proper presentation standards.
  • Organizes, rotates, and stocks hot lines properly.
  • Meets guests' needs through timely and proper handling of all equipment and chemicals.
  • Ensures the employee dining area is properly supplied with freshly prepared food.
  • Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls and government rules and regulations.
  • Works in a safe manner at all times.
  • Assists in other kitchens of the Casino as necessary.
  • Keeps the work area clean and organized and deep cleans the area at the end of shifts.
  • Follows the proper closing procedure with cleaning and labeling.
  • Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
  • Promotes positive public and employee relations.
  • Demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct.
  • Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school Diploma or education equivalent required.
  • Must have food service or Culinary Arts degree.
  • 3 years' related culinary work
