Pay: $12.00 per hour

Job Description:

Are you ready to make this summer unforgettable for our campers? Join us at The Independent School Summer Camp as a camp counselor and be a part of creating the best summer experiences for children aged from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Our camp runs from June 1st to July 31st, and we're looking for enthusiastic individuals who can help monitor, supervise, and engage campers in a safe and fun environment through a variety of hands-on activities. As a camp counselor, you'll be a role model, ensuring our campers have a positive and memorable experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of campers through active supervision and enforcement of camp rules and policies.
  • Engage and participate in activities with campers to enhance their summer experience.
  • Assist in daily tasks such as organizing activities and materials, cleanup, preparing water toys, snack time, and other duties assigned by the camp lead.
  • Demonstrate a genuine love for children and a commitment to enriching their summer experience.
  • Be a flexible team player willing to assist with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High energy, excitement, and readiness for new adventures each day.
  • Prior experience working with children is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to swim and are comfortable being in and around water.
  • CPR certification (Preferred)
  • Availability for the duration of the camp season from June 1st to July 31st

Part-time and full-time options available.
